Fillings

A filling is a way to restore a decayed tooth back to its normal shape and function. If you have a tooth that requires a filling, we will first remove the decayed tooth material, then clean the affected area and fill the cleaned-out cavity with a filling material. This filling will help prevent further decay by closing off any cracks or spaces where bacteria might enter. Our practice offers composite fillings, which are made of a tooth-colored resin material that blend seamlessly with natural teeth, providing both durability and aesthetics. When coming in for a filling, our dentist will conduct a thorough examination, including x-rays if necessary, to determine the extent of the decay and the most suitable type of filling. The decayed portion of the tooth will be gently removed, and the area will be cleaned to prepare for the filling. The chosen filling material will be placed in layers and shaped to restore the tooth's natural form and function. Once the material is in place, the filling will be hardened using a special light and polished to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

"We’re very pleased with Dr. Kwok’s care for our daughter. From the initial consult, Dr. Kwok explained the treatment plan clearly, answered our questions, and kept us informed about progress and milestones. The whole team is friendly, gentle, and efficient, and the results so far have been excellent. Highly recommended for thoughtful, child-friendly orthodontic care."
