Digital X-Rays and Imaging
Digital radiography has replaced traditional film X-rays as the standard of care in modern dentistry, and for good reason. Digital sensors capture high-resolution images of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures instantly, with significantly less radiation than conventional film.
Digital X-rays allow us to capture the diagnostic information we need while keeping exposure as low as reasonably achievable.
The images are available immediately on screen, allowing us to review findings with you in real time, zoom in on areas of concern, and explain what we are seeing in a way that is easy to understand. Combined with our intraoral scanner and CBCT system, digital X-rays are part of a fully integrated imaging workflow that gives us a complete picture of your oral health, from individual teeth to jaw development and airway structure.
Benefits of digital X-rays:
• Reduced radiation exposure compared to conventional film
• High-resolution images for accurate diagnosis
• Instant results with no film processing
• Images stored digitally for easy reference and long-term tracking
• Easy to share with specialists or referring providers when needed

The whole team is friendly, gentle, and efficient, and the results so far have been excellent. Highly recommended for thoughtful, child-friendly orthodontic care."
