Digital Dental Impressions
Traditional impressions meant sitting with a tray full of goopy material in your mouth, waiting for it to set, and hoping the result was accurate enough to work with. Digital impressions change that entirely.
Using a lightweight intraoral scanner, we capture a precise 3D model of your teeth in minutes. There are no trays, no mess, and no discomfort. The scan is accurate down to a fraction of a millimeter, which means better-fitting restorations and appliances from the start.
That digital model becomes the foundation for everything we fabricate, whether that is an orthodontic appliance, a retainer, or an aligner. Depending on the case, work can be completed in-office or sent directly to our partner dental labs digitally, with no physical mailing required.
One of the more valuable aspects of digital scanning is the ability to show you a simulated treatment outcome before we begin. For orthodontic cases especially, being able to visualize the end result helps families make informed decisions and feel confident going into treatment.
Benefits for our patients:
• No impression trays or alginate material
• Faster diagnosis and treatment planning
• More accurate orthodontic appliances and retainers
• Simulated treatment outcomes before you commit
• A more comfortable experience from start to finish
